New Features/Improvements

Accessibility

Forte Checkout is now Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliant with conformance to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) Section 508. This is part of CSG Forte’s ongoing initiative of being an accessibility mature organization. These guidelines are often required for any ICT (Any technology providing digital content to an end consumer) purchased or sold by the Federal Government.

New UI enhancements means FCO is more perceivable, operable, understandable and robust. Information is available via multiple means, such as alternatives to text, and users can interact with content through a variety of methods. Content is presented so that end users can understand the meaning, and Forte Checkout works across multiple operating systems, browsers, and assistive technologies.

UI updates include clear and concise labels to make it easier for end users to navigate the application, and input validation errors are now displayed in a text format with a red outline on the input field to aid users in understanding exactly what the error is and how to fix it. A timeout warning has been added so users can extend the session. This provides user with more time to read content and perform functions.
